Originally from Westchester, New York, Nikita Tewani holds a BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. 

She was most recently seen reprising the role she originated, Aziza, in the play adaptation of Khaled Hosseini's A Thousand Splendid Suns on it’s West Coast Tour. Suns won Best Play at the Broadway World San Diego awards and was nominated for 6 Critics Circle Awards, including Outstanding Ensemble.

Nikita's previous TV Credits include The Affair (Showtime) and Falling Water (USA). She has also been featured in Off-Broadway Theatre, National Commercials, Global Print Ads and, most recently, the feature film Forbidden Steps as the lead role Dua Khawar.

When she is not acting, you can find Nikita binging mystery novels, mooching off of people’s dogs, and eating pizza.
